Lex McAllister, former "the bachelor " contestant is dead

Lex McAllister 31, a contestant in Season 14 of “The Bachelor,” died Tuesday morning. 

Lex McAllister who was found unconscious is believed to have committed suicide by overdosing on prescription medication.

Lex McAllister  was found unconscious on Saturday and rushed to the hospital. She was initially in stable condition, but her body began to shut down. On Tuesday, her family decided to take her off life support, and McAllister passed away.

A family member told TMZ that she had suffered from depression and bipolar disorder.

McAllister, a business development expert, franchise consultant, and entrepreneur, appeared on the same season of “The Bachelor” as Jake Pavelka. She went home the first week, but famously spoke out about Jake and his ex-girlfriend Vienna Girardi’s breakup.
