Watch mum's desperate appeal for blood donors after her baby boy is diagnosed with leukaemia
A desperate mum has made a plea for people to donate blood in a bid to help her baby boy who is battling cancer.
Worried mum Jo Bullock made a video plea for special blood donors needed to help save her son’s life.
Brave Josiah Bullock, from Quinton, Birmingham, was diagnosed with leukaemia seven months ago after his mum noticed changes in his appearance.
She and took him to the GP, hoping that there might be a simple explanation for her son’s condition.
But Josiah, who was just three months old at the time, was referred to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
There, doctors told his shocked parents that their baby boy had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
"The few hours following Josiah's diagnosis passed in a blur," Jo said.
"Within five hours of taking him to the GP, we were told he had leukaemia.
"We had noticed that his tummy had got very fat and his belly button was sticking out, which hadn’t happened before.
"He stopped laughing and smiling, and he began to look very pale.
