University of Port Harcourt Professor M.E. Ogburie, Kidnapped!

Armed men on Monday abducted the Director of Centre for Continuing Education, Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), Port Harcourt, Professor M.E. Ogburie.

Prof. Ogburie was abducted by the gunmen in Elele axis of the state.
The victim’s abduction occurred less than 72 hours after he buried his late father in his village.
It was gathered that the kidnappers had contacted the professor’s family, but did not mention any amount as ransom.
The Acting Vice Chancellor of RSUST, Professor Blessing Didia, also confirmed the abduction.
The State Police Command is yet to comment on the incident.We hope that the professor is safe where ever he is.
